Prior to his articles, Rashesh worked on patent matters at Currier and Kao LLP including patent applications, patent litigation and patent research. While at Currier & Kao LLP, Rashesh assisted the Society of Interventional Radiology by creating a worldwide database of inventions relating to Radiology (see publication below).

At Queen’s, Rashesh was also involved with a year-long consulting project involving the legal, business and technical analysis of a biomass-to-natural gas proposal for Shell Canada in Alberta and British Columbia. Rashesh earned his Bachelors degree from Ryerson University with Honours in International Economics and Finance. While studying at Ryerson, he founded a successful computer and technical support business which he ran for over six years before selling it to pursue legal studies full time.
